I first encountered Chiki’s picture books in the spring of the year before last ……what moved me was that the original artwork was entirely painted ONLY by BRUSH.

It was astonishing, everything from the visible to the invisible, nature and even the sentiments of living creatures were vividly expressed with his brush strokes and the way he colored.

Chiki’s depiction of the world takes me back to my precious childhood days.

I personally have no experience of having or raising my own children.
However, I perceive that Chiki’s picture books are not just ” for children”.
I feel that his paintings have the power to inspire and energize the senses of all human beings.

I sincerely hope that this exhibition will be an opportunity for you to meet and enjoy the charm of Chiki’s beautiful world.
